Originally from Australia, I have been so fortunate to travel and live in some amazing places in the world, experiencing so many cultures, hence my love for all things culinary, design, art, history and architecture. Virginia Beach is where we call home and I get to enjoy time with my amazing kids, my Fiancé, and our adorable dogs, a blue heeler, Luna and our black lab mix, Dixie. I am a believer in all things happen for a reason and the universe conspiring to make your manifestations come to fruition. So here I am! I have spent the last 18 years growing my knowledge in logistics, trends, processes, designing and honing my skills, building relationships with clients, venues, and vendors to plan the perfect wedding, corporate program, or a fun filled family getaway. We listen to our clients to uncover their needs, create a design and plan within their budget then bring all the personal touches and details together for an unforgettable experience. ​ First wedding: The first wedding I ever planned was in Japan! I had a lot of fun, but I really didn't fall in love with it until I moved to Key West in 2006. Born and raised in Chesapeake, I am a Welder by trade, so a steady hand, attention to detail, and straight lines is a skill I have acquired over the years, and I build stuff, like picnic tables and champagne walls. So when I was voluntold to assist Larissa with her weddings, my OCD kicked in and I had to make sure that all of the ceremony chairs were lined up correctly, and any vinyl that needed to be placed had to be straight. I let her do all the fluffy stuff and it's the only time I let her boss me around (JK) and I'm always in awe of how she meticulously sets up, works with all the vendors, and handles the bridal party and guests. Originally from Mexico and raised in Houston, Texas, I grew up with the "bigger is better" mindset—because, after all, everything’s bigger in Texas! Ironically, I was one of those kids who dreaded working out, so I signed up for any elective that would get me out of P.E., which is how I ended up in carpentry and floral design classes. It’s funny now to look back and realize that those classes paved the way for my career today. Before launching Aleesias Balloons, I taught High School Spanish at Great Bridge Christian Academy. I eagerly volunteered to handle all kinds of decor for school events, which sparked my passion for event coordination, planning, and design. During the COVID pandemic, I took a leap of faith and started Aleesias Balloons, offering a wide range of balloon decor, floral design, and custom displays. Alongside my husband Bryan, we meticulously plan and execute events of all kinds—baby showers, birthdays, corporate and military events, and now weddings. We are beyond thrilled to be part of the LJ White Creative team, where we’ll bring our expertise and passion to flawlessly execute your stunning event!

I am originally from the Chicagoland area where I got my degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I currently live in the Virginia Beach with my husband and cat Salem. When I am not working, I love shopping, photography, spending time at Chick’s Beach, or exploring the East Coast. I love having the opportunity to work weddings and events! Being able to help someone’s vision come to life is such a dream. My goal with any wedding or event I work is to make your day stress free, fabulous, and FUN! First wedding: The first wedding I ever planned was my own! It is still my dream day truly jumpstarted my love for wedding planning. Favorite wedding movie: My favorite wedding themed movie is The Wedding Singer. Dream celebrity wedding: I would love planning a wedding for Zendaya. I just know she would focus on all the special moments with her partner. This would be such a fun wedding to plan with details that make the couple them! Unexpected talent: Photography! I love capturing beautiful and real moments. Whether its at a wedding, event, styled shoot, or nature- I love it all! Superpower wish: If I could have any superpower that could help me plan weddings it would be mind reading abilities. Your wedding should be authentic to you and your partner! I would love to know exactly your thoughts, vision, and truly what your dream wedding would look like! Favorite cake flavor: Chocolate and vanilla swirl. Dream destination: Anywhere in Italy! I love how earthy and picturesque a wedding would be! Wedding day comfort food: French fries or anything with potatoes. They are so easy to eat and makes everyone happy!! Best part of your job: The best part of being an event planner is being able to curate a perfect day. Bucket list: A bucket list event for me would be a destination wedding/event. Inspirational quote: To make a difference in someone’s day you do not have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to listen and care.

I was born in Rhode Island but spent most of my childhood in Bolivia, my home country, before relocating to Georgetown, Texas, where I proudly enlisted in the United States Navy where I served aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford. After several years of service, I made the Hampton Roads area home. I like to consider myself a jack of all trades—I enjoy learning new skills and tackling challenges head-on. My journey has taken me from serving my country to discovering my passion for bartending and building a balloon and decor business with my wife. We've since expanded into event coordination, and it's been an exciting adventure that I’ve loved every step of the way. My goal is to bring all the skills I’ve honed throughout life to every event I work on. Whether it’s quick problem-solving or ensuring everything runs seamlessly on the big day, I’m ready to make it happen. So, whether you need a great cocktail recommendation or help setting up, I’m here to lend a hand and ensure your special day is perfect!
